Our packages consist of different products, such as a crossing to Marken and traditional photo in traditional attire. You can determine the planning of your day trip and the sailing departure times by yourself. Always check the actual sailing times before departure.

Tickets are valid for one year from day of purchase, even in combination with any additional orders. Should you decide to come another day, you can simply use your tickets.

You can choose your own departure time to/from Volendam/Marken with your ticket, you can just board when you want. 

Current departure times can be found on the homepage. Please note the times of our last departure! These differ in the summer and winter periods. So always consult the actual travel times before your visit or ask about current times on the quay.

You are free to decide the sailing times of your outward and return journeys and how to fill your day. Also when booking a package. Note: at photographer Volendam it can be busy. Book a time slot on time. You can do so by booking your timeslot online or visiting the ticket office.

Due to possible crowds, we would like to make a suggestion of how to spend your day in Volendam and Marken. For example, start your day with a photo in Volendam costume at Fotograaf Volendam, which is located opposite the departure location of our boats. Then make the crossing to Marken, which takes about 30 minutes. Visit the various sights in Marken. Feeling hungry? Take a rest with a tasty lunch or snack at Restaurant Taverne de Visscher, Marken's oldest tavern. Then stroll around Marken some more and take the boat back to Volendam. To complete your day out, visit the waffle demonstration at Woltjes Backerij and enjoy a delicious waffle.

Our flagship the MS. Jan Smit is entirely at ground level and suitable for taking a wheelchair on board. The other ships have a wheelchair lift and have limited wheelchair access.

Should you visit us as a group with several wheelchairs, please contact us prior to your visit.

Parking facilities in both Volendam and Marken are close to our ships' embarkation points. From the car or bus, it is a nice walk of about 5 minutes.

In Volendam, you can park at car park Marinapark, SlobeStrandweg or Parallelweg.

In Marken, there is a large car park at the end of Kruisbaakweg.

On all our ships, it is possible to bring bicycles, mopeds or (motor) scooters during the crossing for a fee. Making a reservation is not necessary; buying a ticket is. If it is a group with several bikes, please let us know in advance.
